What fabrics do we use to make scrubs?

By Brandon Gounder · Oct 24, 2023

We use 4 different types of fabrics.

  1. Polyester scrubs

Our main range of scrubs is polyester blend.  This fabric is common in most scrubs. This is lightweight, non-fade, breathable, quick dry scrubs used by various categories of people. We keep large volumes of these scrubs in a wide range of colours. These are stocked with jogger pants, i.e., they are elasticated at the ankle. We also make our pattern tops from this fabric.

2. Waterproof scrubs/ Theatre-scrubs

These scrubs are often used in hospital theatres. They have a shiny exterior and inside of the scrub is similar to a peach skin. These properties of the fabric allow for greater liquid resistance. They are offered in jogger pants or straight pants. We stock limited quantities, colours and sizes. If we don't have your size ready made we will make on order.

3. Stretch Scrubs

These scrubs are stretchy. They are non-crease, lightweight and breathable. We keep these in limited stock and colours. If we don't have your size on hand we will make on order. These are offered in jogger pants.

4. Linen Scrubs

These are ultra soft scrubs with a dazzle or snow effect on the fabric. We keep these in limited stock and colours. Exact quantities and size of the readymade scrubs is listed online. If we don't have your size on hand we will make on order.

5. Labcoats

Our labcoats use a labcoat fabric that is much thicker. The lab coats starches soften as it is washed. We keep these on stock in white and other colour's can be made on order. We offer labcoats in both short sleeve and long sleeve
